The socket in both of the lamps I bought were slightly crooked. This made the lampshade sit slightly crooked. I made a small shim so that it now sits level.
One other minor detail is the information that is printed on the socket. It doesn't show unless you are sitting below the level of the light (which would be possible if used as a bed side lamp).
Otherwise, the lamps are very nice in appearance, easy to assemble and mount on the wall.

Lovely lamp with a great drum shade but after my electrician installed the pair to flank a window seat, I realized the swing arm is a bit loose and the lamp looks crooked. I can't tighten up anything to fix it, so I'm stuck with two drunken looking lamps. I may be able to figure out how to straighten the arms in the future, but I am a bit disappointed that the swing arm doesn't seem to be strong.
